Full description
A string of multicoloured felt birds. The birds in this hanging garland are made using commercial felt in bold bright colours. There are four birds in total in bright pink, yellow, blue and purple. Each bird measures approximately 12cm (5") wide x 8cm (3") high. The birds are sewn together using gold thread in a visible overstitch. Antique bronze effect flowers with beaded centres have been added to each side as decoration and gold thread used to mark the wings. The birds are threaded onto a gold hanging thread and are interspersed with red and gold heart shaped beads. The total length of the decoration measures approximately 77cm. (30.5")
