Full description
A green merino wool scarf with large white flowers. This scarf has been nuno felted using a fine layer of green merino wool fibres on a silk chiffon base with a floral design of large white flowers added to one side prior to felting. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight and is suitable for both summer and winter wear.
This is a long scarf, measuring approximately 152cm x 35cm (60" x 14"), long enough to wrap around the neck and tie in many ways. It can be used as a scarf or a shawl/wrap draped around the shoulders.
The floral design has been added to one side only, the reverse is felted but left plain.
An ideal 7th anniversary gift when wool is traditionally the gift of choice, or for any other occasion.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the nuno felting process and full washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
