I love going into my sewing room and picking out some tweeds that look good together. It's not hard when you have piles of wonderful 'Harris Tweed' to work with. Sometimes I will have them in similar hues and other times they will be contrasting.

READY TO SHIP
I picked out the lining first and found this pretty striped pink tweed to match perfectly.
Feminine and pretty pink makeup bag in luxurious 'Harris Tweed', 100% wool and handwoven in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Great beauty gift.
These bags hold lots. It has a wide square bottom and will stand independently.
The case measures approximately 8" x 5" x 2" (that's about 20 x 12 x 6cm). It narrows towards the bottom. The case is lightly padded (but not bulky) and lined in a pink floral strong cotton. Finished off with a magenta coloured zip and of course, no 'Harris Tweed' fabric would be complete without an authentic label. Finally, I've added a pink leather zip pull.
I do enjoy making these and am proud of the design. Look closely at the photograph and you will see that I add tabs to each end of the zipper so there are no metal parts showing. The zip is top stitched down with a double row making sure that the lining doesn't catch in the zip. I pay attention to the detail in these bags.
I include a lavender sachet but please let me know if you prefer not to have this included.
Of course, the makeup in the photos is mine!
