Full description
A beautifully soft, lightweight green poppy scarf. A fine layer of green merino wool fibres have been nuno felted to both sides of a silk chiffon base, a process which causes the wool to bind with the silk during felting. A bright and bold poppy design has been added to one side prior to felting with the reverse felted but left plain.
This is a shorter length scarf designed to drape around the neck or shoulders for those that prefer not to wrap a scarf around the neck. However, it is long enough to tie at the neck if required. The scarf measures approximately 130cm (51") x 36cm (14") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Equally suitable for cool summer evenings or cold winter days.
Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
