A nuno felted white poppy scarf in a longer length allowing it to wrap around the neck if desired. This scarf is made by laying very fine layers of natural white (undyed) merino wool fibres over both sides of a silk chiffon material and nuno felting it, a process that causes the woollen fibres to bind with the silk. A bright bold poppy design has been added to one side prior to felting, the reverse is felted but left plain.
The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight perfect for cool summer evenings or cold winter days. It is a longer length scarf allowing it to be wrapped around the neck or tied in many ways. The scarf measures approximately 148cm (58") x 38cm (15") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
Variations of this scarf, made in different colours and lengths are available in my shop.
