Full description
Nuno felted using a rainbow blend of merino wool fibres on a white silk chiffon base. This scarf has been felted on both sides of the silk to create a gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The underlying silk provides a strong base allowing the woollen fibres to be added in an extremely fine layer.
The resulting scarf is a shorter length scarf designed to drape around the neck and shoulders. Perfect for a cool summer evening and equally as suitable on a cold winter day. The scarf measures approximately 115cm (45") x 40cm (16") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
