I'm a bit of a Peter Gabriel nut and this beautiful wall panel was inspired by one of his songs, Washing of the Water. It was designed and made by me in my garden studio, just outside Norwich.
It is made by cutting and layering coloured glass before firing it in my kiln. It is fired to a low fusing temperature (760d) to retain the shape and texture of the individual pieces of glass. It is a very tactile piece - your family and friends will want to stroke it. The dichroic glass adds a touch of sparkle to an already stunning piece. It looks best hanging on a pale wall and will brighten up any room. It comes supplied with a specialist bracket that holds the panel away from the wall, making it look as if it's floating.
