At a Craft Market I was asked if I did Ballet Shoes. I had to say No.
I do now.

This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
Not my own design, a standard pattern but very much my own interpretation by the glass I choose for it.
In this case my choice of glass is white for the shoes with pastel shades for the border, blue, turquoise, pink. and blue.
The background is prettily patterned iridescent glass which picks out shades of pink and turquoise to match the border.
This is a pair of ballet shoes enclosed in a ring to make a very pretty window hanging.
I usually make this as a pink version but boys can do ballet as well as girls. My very boyish grandson George does ballet so I thought I'm make a gender neutral version..
This is 5 inches in diameter and I've framed it with twisted wire to make it strong and neat. It hangs from two points on the top by a silvery chain.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th picture shows the previous suncatcher I made to this design so you can see they are different.
