Full description
This kingfisher has been needle felted using 100% wool. Woollen fibres have been felted together and shaped using a barbed felting needle. Coloured merino wool over a white core wool have been used for this kingfisher. He has acrylic half pearl flatbacks added as eyes and wired feet which can be gently shaped in order for him to perch on a branch if desired.
The kingfisher measures approximately 16cm in length (approximately life-size). He will be supplied in a free standing position without the branch perch. If you would like to perch him on a branch, his feet can be gently bent around the branch and I would suggest glueing them in place.
