I have always been drawn to old furniture and fabrics. So I took a weekend course in upholstery and a few months later ended up reupholstering and selling 2 chairs that I had completely restored from scratch. I had a small amount of material left and thought… that would make a lovely matching lampshade! So off I went in search of materials and I’ve not looked back. Fabric lampshades have taken over my life. I get so much pleasure from making them and sourcing new material that I can’t stop. I hope you like this shade and the others that I have listed.

NEW from Bayleaf and Rose – a beautiful 30cm drum lampshade in Makower ‘Into the Woods’ fabric showing a country scene of cottages, hares and fields in blue.
My shades are colourful and affordable, plus they make a lovely and unique addition to any room in your home. Why not be different?
The shade has a single seam and rolled edges. It fully complies with the Lighting Association’s Glow Wire Test and is lined with fire retardant PVC.
Each shade is made to order, so please state if you require one for lamp base or a ceiling fixing. My shades each have a converter ring for use with UK and European fittings.
Approx dimensions: 30cm dia x 21cm high. The photo shows the 20cm shade.
