Full description
This scarf has been made using a technique known as nuno felting. Fine layers of super soft lilac merino wool have been laid in a fine layer over a lilac silk chiffon fabric, white flower detail has been added to one side and then the scarf has been nuno felted. This results in the wool fibres migrating through the silk and binding with it.
The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight. It is a long scarf measuring approximately 162cm x 34cm (64" x 13.5") which can be draped around the shoulders or wrapped/tied around the neck for additional warmth if required.
An ideal 7th anniversary gift when wool is traditionally the gift of choice, or for any other occasion.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the nuno felting process and full washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
