Full description
A brightly coloured design in a wooden embroidery hoop. This piece of contemporary textile art has been designed and handmade by me. The image is a woman with rainbow hair and bright red lips. The technique used to make this piece of embroidery is free machine, or free motion embroidery, which is using my sewing machine to draw and colour the image. The texture of this piece of artwork is soft. The colours in this piece of fibre art are red, yellow, purple, blue and black amongst others.
You will receive a certificate of authenticity with this piece of artwork.
The frame is a wooden embroidery hoop which measures 8in x 8 in, which is 20.32cm x 20.32cm.
This piece is finished on the back with the fabric stitched in a circle.
To hang this piece you can tie a piece of wire or string to the screw at the top and hang, or alternatively you could hang the back of the piece over a hook or nail.
