COMPLETELY UNIQUE AND 100% HANDMADE IN GLASS.

'HAMISH THE COO' was made by multi-layering glass-line glass over a sheet of wispy Autumn coloured glass. The texture and details of the cow were then made by scraping through the glass-line. The eyes are metallic dichroic glass and the snout and horns are cut wispy brown glass. Once complete the picture was then fused in my glass kiln. This picture took three firings to allow me to multi-layer the colours and get it just right!
'HAMISH' took me approximately 15 hours to make which was spread over three weeks. A lot of time spent just stepping back from the picture to see how each layer of coloured glass fitted the colour scheme.
I am pleased with the final picture. It is a cheerful little picture with something to offer everyone.
