Full description
A gorgeous, unique and striking nuno felted poppy scarf. White merino wool fibres have been used for the body of this scarf with large poppies added to one side in red merino wool. Various wool and silk fibres have also been added along the bottom edges to create the "grass". The scarf has then been nuno felted, a process which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it during the felting process. The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight and would make a superb addition to any outfit.
Note: the poppy design has been added to one side of the scarf only with the reverse felted but left plain.
The scarf measures 166cm (65") x 30cm (12"), all measurements are approximate.
An ideal 7th anniversary gift when wool is traditionally the gift of choice, or for any other occasion.
The scarf will arrive wrapped in floral tissue paper with information about the nuno felting process and full washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
