Full description
Measures approximately 14 cm diameter.
This roundel has been created using traditional stained glass techniques and materials.
The bumblebee has been hand painted onto light amber, antique style glass and fired in a kiln at high temperature making the image permanent and enduring. In a second firing the rich yellow bands have been applied with enamel completing the bee image.
The amber bee glass is surrounded with rich blue glass, soldered together and finished in a bronze patina.
Attached is a stainless steel chain ( approximately 17 cm to hanging point ) ready for hanging in front of a window and to be viewed in all the different lights of the day
