Full description
This unusual, textured mushroom will be a real feature in your garden, flower beds or pots and make a talking point with your visitors or could be given as an unique gift. The mushroom is hand-made from stoneware clay, glazed and fired to high temperatures, which ensures the toadstool is weather-proof, come rain or shine, so can be left out in the garden all year round. It can be 'planted' in soil or gravel at whatever depth you wish.
The mushroom cap measures 14cm across and the stalk is 30cm long; the cap is textured into pointed 'spikes' and decorated with shiny, vibrant sea-green and blue glaze, which reminds me of the colour of sea holly; the stalk is glazed in a matt cream colour with brown speckling. The underside of the cap is modelled to show the black gills just like a real toadstool.
