I love my little ammonite collection (I have 2 pairs...that's nearly a collection right?) and I thought it was about time I re-created that gorgeous shape in silver.

These ammonite earrings are handmade using fine silver, with sterling silver posts and butterfly backs.
Ammonites have always fascinated me, I have a couple in my workroom which are beautiful,and are apparently 150million years old.... my head hurts just thinking about it! And I thought it was about time I included these beautiful fossils somehow into my designs.
They measure about 9.5mm wide and 7mm high. I also have a matching pendant available if you're interested.
