Full description
This is a handmade Liberty of London fabric quilted bedspread, blanket or throw.
It is made up entirely of Liberty of London Fabrics on the front, Classic, timeless designs, ditsy flower prints in gorgous colorways, Fabrics I collected for quite a while, before I made this quilt.
Liberty of London Tana Lawn Cotton fabric is well known for its beautiful soft feel.
I have made tiny little Liberty of London fabric buttons to quilt it together. (see 4th picture)
I have done a kantha embroidery running stitch around the edge of throw, in all the 1st squares. (see 3rd picture)
I have also added a very pretty lace bias binding along all 4 edges. This isn't Liberty of London, but I felt it went with it very well.
For the back, I used a 100% quilting cotton backing in a natural colour.
The waddling is lightweight, which I feel matches the lightness of the liberty fabrics, which are a very fine cotton tana lawn.
Size approximately 69" square.
This is pre washed, it helps give the quilt a desirable slightly wrinkled look
