I was intrigued by the contrast of the flaxen English Sycamore, which always suggests a cool Scandinavian design ethic, and the slightly 'tigerish' stripy grain of the Ovangkol, a wood I had never used before. It's slightly tricky to work, but planes down very uniformly once the grain is caught right, allowing a really smooth finish. Please note: The table will need to be delivered by carrier, so the postage cited is nominal, please contact me for a proper quote via the shop contact form.
