Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
A 12cm square trinket dish which I fused several times in my kiln.
First of all I made lots of swirly nuggets by layering pieces glass, all colours of the rainbow, onto a clear glass base. Then I hit the fused piece with a hammer and re-fused all the pieces into nuggets.
Then 3rd fuse I arranged the nuggets inside a rainbow border on a piece of clear iridescent glass and infilled with rainbow frit. Final fuse was to slump to a shallow dish.
Hope you like it.
Visually very interesting with almost but not quite a smooth surface and a little square of dichroic glass in each corner to make it pretty..
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated to a unique design.
The dish measures 12cm square.
It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap to keep it very safe in the post..
This will make a lovely present for yourself of for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
You can use it for trinkets or sweets or just as a decorative piece. Looks stunning on a clear white surface and reflects the rainbow colours.
I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I hope you like what I have made.
