I've made a roomy and practical unlined large shopping tote (all seams are finished off so no fraying) that measures 15 x 15 inches (that's about 40cm x 40cm). Features a selection of chickens and ducks. Handles are 18" long which makes it perfect for carrying although I could make them longer if you wished to throw this tote over your shoulder.
Made in a high quality cotton upholstery fabric from Prestigious Textiles whose headquarters is a custom-built facility in the textile heritage heartland of West Yorkshire, England.
Being cotton it's fully washable, cool machine wash and iron. You wouldn't expect anything less.
Oh yes, and then there are rivets on the handles to make sure it's nice and strong and won't fall apart when you are carrying your shopping home.
