Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A shiny bright little Dragonfly. Red textured and clear iridescent textured wings with lots of shimmer. The tail is bright red and also iridescent and the body and head are bright red glass nuggets.
I've added wire curls on the head - this gives strength to the suncatcher, is a convenient way to hang it. and also makes it a little bit more fun.
This pretty little dragonfly measures 9cm x 11cm and hangs from a strong piece of fishing line.
The suncatcher hangs from a loop of stroing fishing line which is securely attached to the top of the dragonfly.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. Every one is different.
My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
The 5th photo shows the previous dragonfly I made to this design so you can see a different colour variation but I do only have this red dragonfly in stock on this special offer.
