I have always been fascinated by different shells and I am in my element, head down, scouring the shore line for new delights.

Full description
This 100cm square canvas is an original painting of shells that I have collected around various beaches in Cornwall and Crete. I am fascinated by their different shapes and colours and never fail to feel a childish sense of excitement when I find complete ones!
I took the images from my sketchbook and painted them LARGE on this canvas with acrylic paint. I love working with acrylic-the colours are so vibrant and the paint dries quite quickly.
The canvas comes complete with d-rings and string all ready to hang.
This painting certainly makes an impression!
It will of course be sent very well wrapped.
