I made this a few years ago. It has been waiting patiently, in its packaging to keep it clean and perfect, for me to find it and list it here. Hope you like it. Was delighted when I found where I had hidden it !

Full description

This is a one-off piece as I normally make Tiffany copper foiled stained glass suncatchers.

This is traditional leaded stained glass. At the centre is a painting of a deep pink coloured tulip on a blue background and the picture is enclosed in a leaded glass frame which uses textured clear and blue glass.

It measures 6.5 ins wide x 8 ins high and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached to soldered wire rings at the top corners.

As leaded glass it is quite heavy (600g plus) so would need to be hung from a proper, permanent hook not just a suction hook. It also looks rather fine hanging on the wall as a picture.

In case you have noticed in my other pieces that I say I don't paint, that is quite correct. I don't but my daughter does and she painted the central tulip piece for me. It was then fired in the oven to make it permanent.
