After spending many hours drawing the beautiful shape of pears , it was clear that I had to 'draw' a pear with silver.

Full description
I love the shape of pears and have filled many pages in my sketchbook drawing them, so I thought I would take my love of them into a piece of jewellery. The outline of the pear is made from flattened copper wire and I have soldered tiny silver and copper seeds to the central stork.
The copper has gained luscious tones of deep red as a result of heat , which makes a good contrast with the silver.
It hangs it from a 45cm/18 inch sterling silver good quality, fine, Italian snake chain. I have incorporated a copper leaf into the chain , just above the pear to add interest to the chain and make the design asymmetric.
The clasp is handmade from sterling silver ,in an easy to fasten design .
Posted first class in a good quality cardboard gift box with black, velvet insert.
