I always paint on glass because I love the vibrancy of the colours when you get light behind them. So a recycled glass block that is sturdy enough to leave out in the garden, or to sit on a sunny windowsill, answers the case perfectly! And I wanted a way to catch light, even when the sun's gone down - so I've drilled a hole in the top & it looks fantastic when filled with fairy lights! An ideal piece for all year round
