Handmade Sterling Silver Leaf Print Brooch
Inspired by nature and the detail within a leaf to portray life itself through all the little veins running through it.....
I ran a piece of sterling silver sheet through my rolling mill with a skeleton leaf to leave an imprint of the leaf in the surface of the silver. I then cut out a simple leaf shape using my piercing saw to set off the texture on the silver - this was filed and polished to give a contemporary look to the leaf. On the reverse, I soldered on a 3/4" brooch pin to complete the piece.
This simple leaf design will make a beautiful accessory and can be worn in many ways....as a brooch on a lapel of a jacket or to secure a scarf in place.
Dimensions: The leaf measures 35mm in length and 12mm wide approx.
Packaging: This item will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a silver organza gift bag
