We were invited to a pirate-themed market as part of the Sunderland Illuminations, which got us thinking "what can we make to fit the theme?" A sea-chest came to immediately to mind. Not only did this get lots of attention at the time, (including the first request for a flat-top alternative) but it has gone on to be our most popular product.

Full description

An ideal storage solution that looks great in any part of your home! Whether you are looking to store toys, momentos or just do a general declutter, our sea-chest style storage box is just the job.

Both the round-top and flat-top version are approximately 50cms tall and 80cms wide with a 40cms depth. If you prefer a larger version, let us know as we can offer a bespoke solution. As well as the shape, you can choose from the following wax finishes (don't forget to let me know which you prefer):

- Dark Oak (first couple of pictures)

- Pine (the lighter colour)

- Red Mahogany

- Teak (last picture)

- Walnut (darker still)

All the timber we use is repurposed from pallets that would otherwise just get dumped or burned. They do retain markings of the previous use such as nail holes as well as the natural features of the wood. This means each one is unique as well as being both rustic and sturdy.
