A beautiful piece of solid oak sat on a sturdy steel frame.

This piece of oak I cut from a dead tree I had to dismantle as part of my job as an arborist. It was a really wet day and the rain bought out the pattern and deep colours of the grain.
It is the first piece I have put up for sale and it was the inspiration for me to start down the road of creating furniture from the interesting wood I come across.
Hopefully there will be more to follow.
