Headbands aren't great at staying put, and the ones that do are either held together with bunched-up elastic or made from cold lycra that looks out of place outside of the gym.
I needed something better, so made it - a headband that uses the natural stretch of the right type of fabric to stay put, the right type of construction to stay strong and in shape, and two colourful fabrics that give you a choice of how you want to look wherever you are. And they were that great, I wanted to share them here too!

Our reversible Sojono headbands have been carefully made by hand, combining two different fabrics to give you double the choice when you want to keep your head warm or your hair in check.
We make use of the natural elasticity of our soft stretch fabrics to ensure a comfortable fit, meaning there’s no elastic bands to loosen or fray, no ruffled up fabric and no bulky seams at the back of your head.
One size will fit most adults and teenagers - these bands are approximately 8.5cm wide at the front and taper to 4cm wide at the back (around 3.3 and 1.5 inches). You can wear it as is, or fold it over to any desired width. Please note that due to how patterns repeat on the fabric, each headband will be slightly different and so each one is unique to its owner.
The bands are overlocked for strength and stretch and have hidden seams that help keep your headband’s shape after washing.
We are proud to say that our bands are handmade in Scotland – they’ve been tested through our cold winters but rest assured they’ve also survived plenty of trips to warmer climates! We only list headbands that are available to ship, and typically ship within one day.
