Another of my tartan hand made bags, this time in a pretty purple heather tone complemented with a linen lining in a very attractive tone of green. This bag has the same a-symmetrical shaped front flap as the the red tartan one listed, with three vintage style buttons in a mottled greeny grey colour.
The handles are made of the same two fabrics used for the bag itself. It has a secure
magnetic snap closure to keep contents secure. There is an inside pocket for mobile, etc.
This would make a lovely gift for that special lady or why not buy it as a treat for yourself.
There is a detachable zipped coin purse made in the same fabrics.

I made this bag with this stunning wool blend fabric which I thought would be a nice idea for a Mother's day gift. I love the gorgeous heather purple green tones of the tartan and decided to line it in a lovely forest green linen to compliment the green of the tartan. These colours and the tartan itself always bring back lovely memories of wonderful holidays spent in the beautiful Scottish Isles and the beautiful tartans which I fell in love with.
