Full description
Hello Pretty Flamingo.
This pretty pink bird is the latest addition to my new resin and metal statement pieces range.
She is made in brass using handcut strips of metal, these are then formed and soldered individually onto a base, then each section is filled with hand mixed resin that is polished to a shiny finish.
She is filled with a pink resin and has a slightly neon pink see through beak.
The edges of the metal are blackened to give the impression of an illustration/line drawing.
The piece is then finished with a matte black patina that will wear over time giving the piece a beautiful antiqued finish.
She measures 7cms tall and is approx. 0.5cms deep.
The pin on the back is sterling silver and comes with a butterfly type clip.
This is a made to order piece so every one is slightly different in pink tone.
Customisation is available if you would prefer a different colour, however due to the nature of the resin this increases the shipping time, please contact me for details.
