Keishi pearls are among the most glamorous of all pearls. They combine both a delicate pearl lustre and petal-like unique shapes that appear to dance as they are worn and change with the light. I have spaced these white Keishi pearls with smooth round white oval pearls to create a generous necklace, 500 mm or 19 1/2" in length. All of the pearls are excellent quality cultured freshwater pearls with a high shine and lustre. The technique I have used in this case is to knot the beads individually on pure white silk thread, leaving a knot between each bead, creating a necklace of exceptional drape which will not kink over time as necklaces beaded on wire tend to do. When wearing such rare and unique pearls, it is entirely fitting that they are mounted on silk, and fastened with a hand forged sterling silver ring, and a strong commercially produced sterling silver bolt ring fastening. These bohemian pearls are equally happy with knitwear at home, at the office or will happily accompany you on an evening out.
These elegant pearls come carefully packaged in a presentation gift box, fastened with a bow.
