If you need to add a touch of colour to your outfit, this beautiful brooch in rich burgundy felt might be just the ticket.

Appliquéd to the centre of the burgundy flower is some pretty floral fabric in gorgeous jewel colours, then there are two green leaves to one side. The brooch is finished with a copper coloured pin, complete with safety catch.

I wanted to show off the jewel colours of this beautiful fabric, so I paired it with gorgeous wool felt and used my trusty scallop-edge scissors to make it into a flower.
