Full description
I have thrown this butter dish on my potters wheel using Stoneware clay. Both the plate and the bowl lid have been dipped in a food safe glaze that has fired to a greeny-browny blue. There is an imprint of a bird in the centre of the plate which I added using an Indian wood block before the first firing.
Approximate measurements:
Plate: diameter - 6 cm
Bowl: base diameter - 12 cm
Height including knob: 11 cm
Stoneware is a very strong clay so this dish can be used in the oven, microwave and is dishwasher proof.
Each pot I throw is individual and the slight variations in the glaze decoration and form make each piece unique. All of my glazes are dinnerware safe.
