A friend of mine while working in a Herefordshire cider orchard, rescued a leveret under attack from a murder of crows. The hare, now adult, appears from time to time, perhaps to say thank you! Mostly nocturnal creatures, hares often point their heads skyward, listening for predators. This can be seen best when the moon is full, leading many cultures to link the hare with lunar cycles. An enchanting image of the elusive hare and magical moon.
