Full description
This scarf has been hand felted using natural white merino wool fibres. Silk threads in two shades of blue have been randomly scattered over the surface of the scarf on both sides prior to felting to create a decorative effect. The felting process causes the silk fibres to become trapped by the woollen fibres. Blue merino wool fibres in two shades have been added to the ends of the scarf and long tassels created. Included in Seconds Sunday as a clearance/end of line item.
The scarf is beautifully soft and warm, yet lightweight. The main body of the scarf measures approximately 150cm x 32cm ( 59" x 12.5") with a further 25cm (10") added to each end by the tassels giving a total length of 200cm (79"). It can be worn and tied in many ways and is plenty long enough to wrap around the neck if required.
The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift idea.
Hand wash in warm water.
