I absolutely loved this Liberty design. The pink tones of the berry pattern, offset against the earthy brown background instantly appealed to me. There's a lovely softness about the design without being too saccharin. I love how there's a strength to the colour, even when the lights are off - but when they are on, they radiate a beautifully warm glow.

Liberty's Wiltshire Berry silk chiffon and natural white Icelandic wool combine in these Nuno felted fairy lights. Through the process of wet felting, the wool fibres are drawn through the fine quality silk weave to create a single sheet of tactile fabric, which is then cut and mounted onto each of the 20 warm white LED bulbs. Special feature is made of the wool's natural characteristic - that of producing a beautiful cobweb effect when the fibres are laid finely. The silk is hand frayed to feather into the wool. These lights are sculptural and look wonderful adorning a mantlepiece, cascading vertically down a wall or could be wrapped around a bed head to enjoy the warm glow radiating through the silk when the lights are illuminated.
The felted conical wraps are hot glued around each bulb. The LED bulbs produce no heat and the chain is battery operated, so can be safely displayed anywhere. Owing to the whispy nature of the cobweb edged wool I would recommend keeping them just out of reach of small fingers if they are to be used in a child's bedroom.
The clear chain is just over 2m in length with approximately 8cm between lights and a distance of 30cm to a compact white battery compartment. They will require 2xAA batteries (included). Each conical wrap is 15-20cm long. The lights are presented in a brown ribbed Kraft box with layers of natural tissue paper. This will be double boxed for posting and sent First Class, requiring a signature upon delivery.
