Full description
Currently awaiting delivery of some components, expected in approx. 4 weeks. Please contact for an update if interested.
Bespoke weathervane featuring the silhouette of a Fox dashing. Created in 316 'Marine' grade stainless steel for a long corrosion resistant life.
Built to my own unique design and not available anywhere else. The finished design was laser cut from 3 mm thick stainless steel sheet and then completed by me in my own workshop.
The arrowhead design is inspired by ancient flint arrowheads with a feathered flights inspired tail design. The upper assembly pivots on a point contact bearing giving a smooth response in only a light breeze.
The cardinal markers feature stainless steel lettering of a clean simple design, the diameter across the cardinal arms is approx. 500 mm. The arrow measures approx. 700 mm from tip to tail and the silhouette has a length of approx. 600 mm from nose to tail.
The centre post is machined from solid 1/2" diameter stainless steel and extends approximately 630 mm below the cardinal arms.
The whole assembly weighs approx. 5 kg to 5.5 kg
Can be mounted direct into a hole drilled in a wooden post, pergola or ridge-board. Alternatively we can supply a simple bracket that allows the weathervane to be mounted to a vertical surface such as a gable end (see separate listing).
Custom designs also possible, contact me if you have something unique in mind.
Collection is welcome if you are nearby and would prefer.
