My inspiration for this comb came from every where; from bridal magazines, and even hair combs that friends had worn and of course from beautiful nature. A rose in my garden inspired the pink rose I made on this hair comb.

I have a passion for walking and hiking. I often use props in my pictures and normally head to the local woods which is a stones throw from my house where I find an abundance of them; from twigs to acorns, stones and berries. I also normally carry my note pad and pencil in my back back so if an idea flashes into my mind I will write about it or even doodle it. The image of the above hair comb did just exactly that and after sitting on a rather comfortable log that is one of three that surrounds a camp fire that the local brownies use I sketched my ideas into life.
