I’ve been making my super smooth Limed Ash Apples and Pears for a couple of years now and a regular costumer asked if I ever make realistic looking fruit. I thought I’d give it a try and this is the result! Everyone first thinks the ‘conference pear’ is real which can be most amusing and makes this a great conversation started at exhibitions and a great gift!

Full description
One pear is turned from Ash and finished with liming wax. The details are turned Wenge. The ‘real’ pear is turned from beech and painted with Acrylics. The large pear is 19cm long, the smaller 14cm
