Full description
This painting depicts a country garden with wildflowers, dove cot and butterfly. The painting comprises of a range of watercolour techniques such as wet-on-wet and wax resist which is in keeping with my style of artwork. There is an impressionistic feel to my work which is illustrated in this piece of work. The butterfly has been painted, cut out and stuck onto the painting to add a three dimensional feel. This is an original painting not a print. The dimensions are approximately 33cm x 23cm without mount and 40cm x 30cm with mount.
