I am inspired to make things from items that would otherwise be thrown away. I am also inspired by little villages and seaside places and islands. I have spent many years sailing around the western Isles of Scotland I love places that seem to hold onto a quieter simpler time, i will sketch and paint my memories of places and sometimes work in paint and sometimes in 3d
From November to March I also make winter scenes with the themes of cold crisp days and an invitation to come in to my little houses and sit in a warm cosy room by the fire...
