I have made this unique shelf unit out of a drawer from an old chest I no longer needed. The drawer is painted in the palest blue and I have used a paint effect on one side. The shelf is painted in bright magenta/pink to pick out the colour in the backing paper. The shelf may hang easily on the wall or stand on a surface. A great little gift or perfect anywhere in the home.

I had an old chest of drawers that I no longer needed. As the drawers were in perfect condition I decided to make each of them into a different, and unique shelf unit. I found that the shelf can be supported easily, by the lip at the back, on a couple of nails in the wall. It also is perfect on a chest or dressing table.
