I liked the idea of repurposing materials lying around to make something destined for a skip into something worthy of being displayed in your house. I enjoyed making this, especially the detailing of the snow. Hope you like it too.

'Winter by the woods' - Original, handcrafted design depicting the scene of a miniature house beside a wooded area in winter.
Additional detailing includes hand painted snow using a heavy medium and acrylic paint resting on trees made from twigs and twine and a rusty fence of wire and nails. Whole scene sits on a chunky piece of reclaimed wood.
Piece measures 18.5cm(L), 13cm(H), 7.5cm(D).
Treat someone with a gift for Christmas, or keep it for yourself as a quirky decoration.
