I wanted to showcase the fantastic soundtracks of films that I love. The music for movies is so important and can really get you emotionally involved. My love of soundtracks led me to design the Movie Classics range where I try and merge the sheet music of a main theme with recognisable elements of the film.

I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.
Great Scott... this edition illustrates the fantastic main theme from the 1985 Robert Zemeckis classic movie 'Back to the Future' by American composer Alan Silvestri.
The film and theme are firm favourites of mine and to be honest the whole soundtrack to the movie is awesome. You can't go wrong with a bit of Huey Lewis and the News in my book!
The scene depicted is when Marty McFly travels back from 1955 to 1985 at the end of the first movie with the help of Doctor Emmet Brown.
Marty driving the DeLorean time machine hits 88 miles per hour just as a bolt of lightning hits Hill Valley's Clock Tower, sending 1.21 gigawatts of electricity into the flux capacitor.
PLEASE NOTE: The poster can be resized to any measurement, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
