I wanted to showcase the fantastic soundtracks of films that I love. The music for movies is so important and can really get you emotionally involved. My love of soundtracks led me to design the Movie Classics range where I try and merge the sheet music of a main theme with recognisable elements of the film.

I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.
This edition illustrates the heartfelt theme by Danny Elfman entitled 'Jack’s Lament' from the fantastic Tim Burton stop motion movie 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' directed by Henry Selick. The scene depicted shows Jack Skellington 'The Pumpkin King' singing in the iconic gothic graveyard watched by Sally, Zero and various ghosts and ghouls.
