This little snowman tree decoration would look just as good hanging in a window to catch the sun.
The snowman's body and head are made from crushed white glass, with small pieces of crushed black glass for his eyes, mouth and buttons. Other pieces of glass are used for his hat, nose and scarf and the whole piece is fired in the kiln to around 750 degrees celsius. At this temperature the glass pieces stick to each other but retain their 3D quality. Holes are then drilled and a hanging thread attached.
Because of the way that the snowman is made, no two will be the same, as you can see from the second photograph that shows four in a row.
The decoration, which measures 50mm x 85mm, will be sent by 1st Class Royal Mail, well cushioned in bubble wrap.
