I was eager to try out my new peg loom and as soon as I started I knew that the combination of fabric weaving and crochet would work really well. I wanted a footstool that was a bit different - something that would bring a smile to your face every time you put your feet up after a long day, so I made one!

Full description
A gorgeous little footstool I have covered using upcycled fabric to create a totally original piece of furniture. This particular one was made from a woollen scarf so is really soft, warm and very tactile. Have a look at the close up photo showing work in progress.
The seat has been crocheted, the sides woven on a peg loom. It can be used as pouffe stool, footstool, ottoman, children stool, milking stool, sofa tea stool...etc.
Stands 30cm tall, 30cm diameter and 97cm circumference
Hard wearing yet really soft and warm to sit on or put up your feet after a long day.
Great in homes with children or pets as the cover is removable and easy to wash, just pop in a washing machine
All my ragrugs and cushion covers are handmade by me, no two will have the same colours or pattern. In fact this inherent characteristic adds natural beauty to these items
Apart from my Boho Beanies I also make rag rugs. This combines my love for making and creating something that not only looks great but has a practical use, with my passion for upcycling unwanted clothing and fabrics
The actual stool is brand new. It is robust and stable, small enough to put anywhere or move easily.
The legs are solid wood which I've sanded and protected with a wax finish. Each one has a soft protective disc on the bottom to prevent floors being scratched.
