Full description
This copper and sterling silver pendant was inspired by images of spiral galaxies - a perfect gift for stargazers! The circular copper sheet has been domed and forged with a ball pein hammer to add texture, The sterling silver wire was formed into a spiral shape and hammered lightly before soldering it onto the copper. I have added a sterling silver jump ring to act as a bail and a copper toned chain with ornate Tibetan toggle and ring clasp. The pendant has been tumble polished to a bright shine and treated with Renaissance wax to preserve the finish. The copper will gradually darken to a bronze colour over time and you can either leave it like that or restore the shine with metal polish.
